Edward Fronapfel, P.E., F. ASCE, F. NAFE, is the President of 7272 Consulting, bringing more than 30 years of hands-on experience to forensic engineering and expert witness services.

Licensed to Practice:

Registered Professional Engineer in 39 states and Puerto Rico: AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MN, MS, MT, MO, NE, NJ, NY NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, and WY.

Technical Expertise:

Geo-hydrology, hydrology, hydraulics, civil engineering, structural engineering, and building systems—including thermal analysis, ventilation of confined spaces, waterproofing, roofing, and cladding across residential, commercial, educational, and industrial settings. Beyond engineering, his background includes cost consulting, contract resolution, project scheduling, and construction project issue resolution.

Courtroom Experience:

Qualified as an expert in over 125 trials in District and Federal Courts. More than 800 depositions and hundreds of arbitrations. Engaged in thousands of cases, including serving as an umpire and expert in mediations.

Educator:

Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver's Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management for over 15 years, teaching construction systems, LEED, mechanical-electrical-plumbing, construction estimating, and project scheduling. Currently instructs Delegate in Structural Forensic courses for the College of Contract Management (UK) and serves as Adjunct Professor at the Colorado School of Mines, teaching Construction and Design Law.
